ESO creates short film to protect Arabian Sea humpback whales (Sultanate of Oman)

ESO-creates-short-film-to-protect-Arabian-Sea-humpback-whalesJuly 12th, 2016. As part of its continued efforts to protect the Arabian Sea humpback whale population in the sultanate, the Environment Society of Oman (ESO) has created a short film to raise awareness regarding the threats the critically endangered animal is facing.

Filmed and directed by Miguel Willis and produced by Justine Kwaan, the production also highlights ESO’s efforts to protect whales and the measures taken by public sector companies to minimise the dangers facing the species, stated a press release.

The film, which can be found on ESO’s media channel on YouTube, was shot over a period of two months along Oman’s southern coast and features the harmonious sounds and images of Oman’s sea creatures.

The film can be watched in English or Arabic
